ACROSSER's embedded PC104 module computer, AR-B1320 is proudly utilized by GE Medical as the core CPU controller for its ECG and Heart Rate Monitor.

The ECG (ElectroCardioGram) and Heart Rate monitors are used to record the heart's electrical activity, which is used in diagnosing heart abnormalities. The monitors are primarily used on patients in critical care areas, which include intensive care units, emergency rooms, recovery rooms, and surgical applications. GE's has placed monitors in more than 1,000 hospitals worldwide.

This monitor system utilizes the AR-B1320 PC104 module computer board as the controller. This 386-based PC104 module PC comes with an on-board 386-33MHz CPU and on-board 2MB EDO RAM. The board has a PC104 interface for I/O expansion, a programmable watch-dog timer, floppy disk drive connector, and IDE interface where a 44-pin horizontal Disk-On-Flash also know as Disk-On-Module is used to hold the manufacturer's embedded operating system.
